Results of the NYC Salary Survey
One of my main goals for the survey was to be able to provide data on the average salary for Athletic Trainers in NYC, and then break it down by education level, experience level, and professional setting. However, with the limited number of respondents this type of breakdown would simply not reflect the true financial situation of Athletic Trainers in NYC. Therefore, the following general numbers are the best we currently have to work with.
The 2023 NATA average salary for the NYS Metro Area, which included NY, NJ, & PA metro areas, was $83,787.
The 2023 Average AT salary for our district (District 2) was $69,695.
The 2023 average national AT salary was $68,907.
The average salary reported by respondents to this survey was $78,562.
